Yes, dear reader these will be the first pictures of my new project. I have to tell you why i've chosen earring. I'm not really a jewellry fan (unfortunately i have allegy), because sometimes people think that if you put so many nacklaces or rings or anything to you, you will be prettier. Actually, i think NO. The point is that, you should wear one/two and that has to be special! Something strange, unusual shape, just a little extra which makes you more attractive.
So i try to make not so spectecualar, but nice items. I have so many ideas, what you should wear as an earring. I try to make one or two from one item. I think you don't want to run into the same earrings on every corner.

Keep your things in order!!!!

That's a really good sentense, but not for me. Okay i like to put my things in order, and sometimes i throw everything out. I know that is not a very good sign, but i don't like the order. Sometimes i think, that i need so many things, so i can't put them into order, or put my beads back into the jars. Yes, i know that's not good, but i haven't do any investment yet - actually i haven't decided about staying in the country yet. (actually i have really great plans about a glass table and things like that). It would be great to have so many beads and stuff like that. But i'm just a beginner now.

So now you can see my desk. Not so many things. I'm still waiting for about 40 packeges from everywhere.

What is your inspiration?

That's a good question ...

I think every one of us has an inspiration ... people, smells, lights, feelings ... and yes, music...

For me that's the biggest one ... when i'm listening to music, i alwasy feel that i'm in a different position, in a different country, and i have a new life. I'm a non-stop music listener :)

I have a virtual memory (if anybody wants that, please don't do it ... it's terrible) so when i close my eyes -  now that my head is full of earing and necklace ideas -  i can see them. And when music comes that sapes start to move. Wow.

I really like indie music (from the great old UK, Canada, Scandinavia, Australia and sometimes from my little country Hungary), they are really great. These mucis have something to say and they are out of the ordinary. If i can be anything, i would be a music

So one thing is music, the other one is reading. Now i'm collecting blogs and pages about design and handmade stuff. We can learn a lot of things from the others. We shouldn't really think about them as "enemy", but inspiration. I will share you with some really great blogs in the recent future.

Actually that's a really interesting question, if you have any other ideas you can share. I know that now, that not many people read this blog, but who knows :)

Let's study - a little "how to start your business" lesson

Today i've realized that i have to learn how to use Photoshop ... actually i know who to use, but i want to be better. And i have a lot of freetime now, so it won't hurt, and actually i'm not a big photographer, don't have a really good camera.

I have to tell you, that i'm not a marketing expert, even i've learned it and i really enjoyed the classes.

I think, for a good business you really have to know how to sell yourself and your product. People always like shiny and attractive things, even the content is rubbish. How many times did you by something, because it looked great? That's our world, how it's working, we can't do anything about it.

One think we can do is to show the best profile ourselves. I really like old/vintage looking pictures and home pages where you can see, it's something out of the ordinary. If we can't be the biggest and the best company in the world, be something special.
When you start you own business you have to decide what do you want and in what you are better than the others. Two things:

• you sell thing which is cheaper than anything else ... in most of the countries (for example in the Middle of Europe) people don't have so much money to spend, so they will probably buy the cheaper product, most of the time with bad quality and from far countires (China and the asian region). That's another question where that money will go, but that's not the topic now. In this case it's sure that the product won't be unique.
• or you can do something really interesting, which is rare or new among the products ... okay probably these items will be more expensive. But the point is in this case it has to be unique!!! A hand made item or a product which you can't buy everywhere or something that has offer you a bigger value. 

Actually i always want to be in the second group. So if you have decided in which group you would like to go, you can start to orgainze the business. Actually you can start you business plan :) Sounds interesting, right?

 

I think the most important part is that you have to be faithful to what are you doing and don't change the main part of the plan. I know that the world and the economy are changing really quickly. But we can't change our mind in every other minute. In that case the whole thing will be a mess. 

In my case i've decided that i would like to do something arts&crafts :), i would like to do something with art. I also know that i like rare things. So i will do handmade items. I also know that i don't like cheap things, so even i don't have so much money i try to by glass stuff instead of acryl. That's a start.

And so on you can think about your own start!! I won't tell any of my ideas, beacuse that's a secret! :)

Let's start!

Hello Everybody!

This is going to a blog about my etsy shop and everything i like with pictures and music and everything else.

First i have to tell you, this is a new project in my life. After graduation i started to work at the bigest company in the world. But after seven months i took a deep breath and i gave up my job to do something more interesting with my life and with my dreams.

I've never wanted to be an economist. I always felt that i can't express myself and this job didn't help me at all. I've seen lot of things which i hope will help me when i will do my own business. It wasn't easy and i still try to find myself and i fight with the world and with my parents. I don't have a normal job :)

I don't want a whole empire or be the biggest or the best, but till i'm happy with what i'm doing, it's okay for me :). I've chosen this start of my business, because it's not sure that i'm going to live in the country where i live now. But thank God in our world with the Internet everything is possible from any part of the world.

I would like to try so many things in the creative world and i hope i will have time and money. I've got so many ideas, so i will try to keep you updated! I don't know what i would like to do, but two things are sure i really like earrings, and vintage things, even if i don't act like the people who like fashion :). 

I like unique things which is not one of the dozen. And of course i'm a big green fan ... a.k.a. i would like to do something which help us understand how we can live in greener world. That's an interesting question :). My biggest dream to built a community where we can buy eco-design products, that would be fun and useful :).

As soon as i will have the picuters from my "products" we should start on etsy!!!
